Dieses herzhafte Bier veredeln wir mit englischen Ale-Hopfen. Es passt zu deftigen Hauptspeisen, zum Grillen und sogar zu westfälischen Suppengerichten!

From tap at Bauerncafe Dieckmann, Emsdetten. Aroma is sweet caramel malt with toffee and soft spicy notes. Flavour is sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied. A bit sweet for me, but it has a fairly rich malty caramel aroma.

Brown with a frothy, beige head. Toffee and milk chocolate aroma with touches of lime. Taste is mildly sweet, trending tart at the finish. Medium bodied, moderate to mild carbonation. Straightforward. Ok

0.33 l bottle from 'Biermuda', best before December 2017. Clear, dark reddish brown with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of milk chocolate, caramel and some nuts. Moderately sweet, malty, slightly roasty and quite yeasty taste of caramel, nuts, chocolate and vegetables, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a little roasty and quite yeasty finish. Medium body, quite effervescent mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Quite okay, but a bit off.

Malty-smooth beginning. Great soft with a dry but dark malty sweetish body. Easy to drink, fresh and round. The aftertaste is moderate bitter, a bit burned. Milk chocolate, round malt, hints of burned sugar, but not sweet. Great and soft stuff with lots of depth.

Bouteille:Cloudy, amber coloured, mid-sized and slowly collapsing "dirty" white head with a good lace; moderate sweetish bready-caramelly nose with a certain fruitiness and some subdued hoppy traces; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; slightly lingering distinctive sweet-bitter finish, caramelly traces included. Pleasant drink…

Compact 0,33 l bottle. Unclear amber in the glass, mighty head. Fresh malty with a litttle bit hop on the nose. Taste starts malty with a lot more hop but not bitter. Longlasting. Little bit citrus, little bit bready. Not a typical Dunkel but a nice one.
