Bottle from Vinomundo, Conwy. Orange-blonde with a thin head. Hopped, but a strong grainy influence, with a rawness in this respect that’s very evident in its nose and provides a mild grittiness in taste.

Cask @ Bree Louise. Notes of knäckebröd and apricots. A bit skunky (bad beer or bad cask?).

Bree Louise. Cask. Almost.clear gold beer, no head. Palate is light and dry. Very low carbonation. Honeyish pale malts. Little apple. As Leighton said - tired lemon. Trace of dust at the dry finish. It’s okay but hamstrung by the poor condition the Bree Louise served it up in.

Cask at the Bree Louise - London. Pours clear gold with pretty much no head. The nose has grains, toasty pale malts, hay. Light sweet flavor with more grainy, pale malts. Light bodied and mostly flat. Some husky grains to finish with licks of orange rind, ripe lemon and hay. Shabby.

Keg at The Grapes, Oxford, Thursday 29th May 2014 in company of Helen & Geraint Pours light gold with white head. Clean, fresh nose some lemon. Uncomplicated and straightforward blonde ale, offering a measured citrussy fruitiness throughout but with little else in the way of diversion. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.2
