Bottle. Sourced Market, St. Pancras. Just about clear, pale gold. Thick, bubbly, lasting, white head. Lovely, soft, banana ice cream. Ripe pear. Sweet, thick, grainy malts. Taste is toffee banana sweet. Decent dryness by way of balance. Smooth palate. Finishes soft sweet. Very light, dry, and bitter close. Liked this.

Bottle at The Cad’s 10yr Shindig thanks to Leighton. Cheers! It pours hazy golden with a thick white head. The nose is soft, sweet, pear, apple, melon, brioche and some white sugar. The taste is crisp, bitter-sweet, doughy, estery, melon, apple, pear, cereal and some candied citrus peel with a touch of dryness on the finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Well rounded. Very good (for a tripel).

Bottle at the Cads 10th Anniversary bash, thanks to Leighton, 29/03/15. Lightly hazed pale golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is yeast esters, grain, lemon rind, straw, tangerine, light perfume. Taste comrpises caramel, vanilla, straw, yeast, orange, trace of spice. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light tickle of booze. Decent tripel, good balance, doesn’t become too sweet or cloying.
