Cask at Draft House Seething, 30/10/19. Reddish amber with a decent beige cap that retains well . Nose is biscuit, brown bread, fruit loaf, light caramel. Taste comprises dried berries, dusty fruit esters, biscuit malt, light spice. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close laced with modest bitterness. Fine for the style.

Cask @ Calans, Hebden Bridge. Copper with a creamy head. It's a smoothish bitter with quite a few hops involved. Very light drinking with a malty nose.

Cask at the Richard I, Greenwich. Reddish brown pour with a beige head. Aromas of toffee apple, sweet malt action, plum jam. Similar malarkey in the flavour. Not bad at all.

Cask, half-pint at Flying Horse (JDW), Gatwick Airport. Deep dark brown body, A beige head blanketing the upper part of the glass. Earth and bread on the nose, hints of dark fruits. Blended taste of biscuits, earth, bread and caramel. Vague bittersweet ending. Smooth on the swallow. Fair enough. (13.02.2019).
