Exhibition is a dry cider of the highest "exhibition" standard, and at 7.2% vol it is a strong and characterful addition to the Henney’s cider family.

Late in the spring, when cider from the previous autumn has matured, cider makers exhibit their cider for judging in friendly competitions, and the new Exhibition cider represents Mike’s entry into the coveted ’dry cider’ class.

Trockener Antrunk nach reifen roten Äpfeln. Süffig, rund fruchtig ohne zu süß zu sein, spritzig. Leicht ansteigende Intensität, langer Nachhall. Gut. 9/11/10/11/9/11

50cl bottle from Tesco’s, Camberley - 2013 vintage and 6.5% ABV. A pale amber pour with a light fizz; intense, fragrant, appley aroma; smooth and full bodied, with lots of fruit, some oak and honey; then a dry finish that’s deeply satisfying with some earthy tones. Very good indeed.

Bottle from Tesco Extra Aylesbury, Bucks, consumed at home, Wednesday 5th February 2014. Pours warm gold pretty reasonable clarity. Soft but a good clacky and tart appley bite, the initial softness almost leads you in with a false sense of security but this cider has a good fruity appley zappiness. I very much enjoyed this and would happily have again. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5

500ml bottle. Pours dark gold with medium carbonation. Aroma is sharp, tart apples with a little sweetness underneath. Taste has musty apples to start and a dry apple juice finish.

Picked this up from a tiny campsite shop in Herefordshire and seems like a new one from Henney’s. Calling this Exhibition seems like they’re particularly proud of this, and after tasting I really couldn’t blame them. As soon as the cap’s popped off I’m hit with an exquisitely fresh apple aroma. It pours a perfect not-too-cloudy gold and as soon as it enters your mouth a luscious bubblegum apple sweetness smacks you in the chops. This really is something else, almost fragrant but balanced wonderfully with a touch of tannin. Highly recommended.
