750ml swing top bottle. Jet black pour, big, rocky brown head. Lots of sweet cocoa in the aroma, with some lactic sweetness too with a decent amount of roasty malts, and some coffee. Thick mouth feel, very soft carb. The finish is sweet and chocolatey, with more lactic sweetness, and the roasty coffee rounds it out. A great dessert stout!

Can from the LCBO. Dark mahogany with a large lingering dark khaki head that leaves stringy lace. Lots of chocolate, coffee and roast on the nose. Light+ milk chocolate sweetness with a medium- coffee bitterness. Mouth is creamy but a tad thin for a stout, with soft carbonation. Pleasant enough. 8-/3+/7/3/15

24th Jan 2015: another bottle shared at the Cotteridge Wine meeting, cheers Wingman for this offering. Really dark brown with a cream coloured topping. No hiding that this is a Sweet Stout and it’s name gives away the flavours somewhat! Yes, this is a milk Stout with plenty of chocolate notes in both the nose and taste, smooth and fairly creamy in texture, nice feel to the brew, I liked it. Good alcohol kick too.
