Chocolate Porter. This beer is for times when a lot plus a bit more is called for. Death by chocolate is a term that comes to mind.

Bottle thanks to Sean. Pours a jet black color with a medium brown head. A big vibrant dark fruit roast nose. Heavy slick roasted malts, metallic, robust, some chocolate, ash, milky notes. Licorice. Light oxidation. Rich metallic roast with dark fruit is dominant, and it is lovely. CC just pumps out awesome brews.

Beavertown Spectrum Fest. Keg. Almost clear dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is smooth with mild fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, mild cream. Little marmite - soy. Touch of bitter licorice. Light finish. Not bad but I was expecting much more.

Bottle shared by Brian, thanks! Pours near black with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has dark grains with a bit of dark chocolate and a hint of roasted malts. Flavor has sweet dark grains with a touch of toffee and a growing bitter chocolate note.

Bottle shared during the RBWG 2015 Grand Tasting. Huge thanks for sharing this one! Pours black-brown with a foamy beige head. The nose has bready dark malts, chocolate. Medium to big sweet flavor with delicious chocolate, baking cocoa and dark fruits. Full bodied, moderately chewy, with fine carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish with further bittersweet cocoa, oily chocolate, more dark fruits, low bitterness. Excellent.

rbwg2015. 750ml bottle pours with a very dark colored body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up chocolate, dark roasted malts, some molasses and then mild amounts of vanilla, oak and dark fruity esters. The taste is smooth and chocolate yum that is strongly nuanced by molasses and a bit of coffee. Lovely. This only gets better with additional sips as the chocolate reaches the realm of silkiness just as slivers of sweet dark fruity esters join the fun. Very nice.
