Can from the LCBO. Deep black with burgundy highlights under a dense dark khaki head that fades slowly. Nose is prominent dark chocolate and roast with some plum backing. Light toffee sweetness supports bitter chocolate with some smoke appearing. Medium thin body with average carbonation and a dry finish. NIce, if a bit thin.

Can. Very dark. Sweet, smooth, espresso, and milk chocolate, pretty good, sweet and balanced.

Comes in their Holiday Gift Pack for Christmas 2014 (with 2 other cans of different beer and a glass). Almost black coloured with no highlights. The head is pretty creamy, quite brown, long lasting and laces up the glass. Roasted malt aromas with sweet yeast, notes of chocolate and coffee. The taste starts off with this sweetness, then the burnt malts appear to finish with a little bitterness. Hints of coffee, chocolate and the malt lingers. A nice looking stout that starts off nicely, but gets a little too sweet to enjoy more.

A deep viscous dark stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, a smooth bitter chocolate with vinous, floral hops, coffe grinds, great. In mouth, a smooth powdery chocoolate malt with grassy hops, smooth and classic.

Smell is awesome on this one. Very nose heavy stout. Pours with big foamy head, medium lacing. Aroma has smoked malt and coffee, lots of nut. All without even having a sip. Taste is very light nutty bitter - not much of a leave. On tap at Get Well.

This stout poured pure used motor oil with a low down, septic looking head. Tan in colour with no lacing what-so-ever. Scents include smoke, dark cocoa, earth and licorice. First sip was thick and rich with heavy smoke flavour and added tastes of Melloid cough candies and soy sauce. finish is smoky burnt with a medium bitterness.
