A well rounded pale ale with citrus and exotic fruit notes, a hint of pine and a clean, hoppy bitter finish.

500ml bottle from Pontypool Tesco, swigged on the terrace at our cottage overlooking the town. Clear gold with a plentiful amount of white foam. Excellent freshly sweet citrus fruit, nicely bitter with a great rounded drinkability. I will concur with Druncanveasey on the wine gum notes. A very drinkable beer overall.

Danke an minutemat. Trocken bitterer Beginn, frische Hopfennoten auf geringem Level, etwas Zitrus. Dunkler, leicht buttriger Hintergrund, zunehmend bitter, hohe Süffigkeit. Wässriges Finish. 9/8/10/8/9/8

Cask ale, half-pint at McCann's Rock 'n' Ale Bar. Near-clear golden body, low white head, upper part lacing. Vague aroma of grass with a citric note. Grassy hops and hints of dried fruits to the flavour character. Mid-sweet fruity endnotes. Average stuff. (Newport 03.10.2018).

Bottle at home from Laithwaite. A nice beer with plenty of malt, some bitter English hops and an enjoyable pint of beer.

Bottle from Lidl, Longford [100617]
Golden, crystal clear, frothy bubbly white head, light lacing
Aroma of very light citrus, hint of cereal, light sweet pale malt
Taste of light pale malts, light bitter citrus hop, soft cereal, light fruit, very light flavour
Palate - Soft carb, medium light body, bit oily. Finish is a bit dry, light cereal, more bitterness in the tail
Overall - Easy going, refreshing, but too light flavoured and plain for abv

500ml bottle into a UK pint sleeve at home on 29th Sep 2016. Light golden with a full white head that fell away swiftly into a weak wispy covering. Slight hop lead in the aroma and taste, mild citrus notes throughout with a semi-bitter nature to the whole brew. Well carbonated and lively, even if the head did a runner early.
