Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol March 2016. Amber in colour, with a slight, white, head. Aroma of sweetish, stone fruits, and oaked edge and touch of spicy hop. Flavour had sweetish, biscuity, malts, more fruit and a moderately bitter finish. Good.

Cask handpull at Shakespeare Head Spoons London. Clear mid brown colour lasting off white head. Some spice on the hop and malt is that rye malt. Spicy bitter hop finish. A little sweet. But there is interest there from the spicy malt and hop mix. Yes firmly decent and slightly interesting

On cask at the Standing Order. Appearance - amber with a decent head. Nose - elusive, perhaps some orange and pale malt. Taste - orange and light malt. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a finish that is just a bit too sweet. Overall - a bit too sweet.

Cask at Victoria Station. It pours clear deep amber - brown with a small, bubbly off-white head. The aroma is mellow, bitter - sweet, quite woody, leather, leaves and a touch of spice. The taste is bitter, woody, leather, spice, chewy malt, light varnish and earth with a dry, woody finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Pretty ok woody ale.
