Can ordered from Vittles & Company, Hull. Aroma is nutty, roasty, woody. Murky opaque brown. Frothy off-white head forms a 5mm band around the rim. Sour. Vinous. Berries, with a sweet molasses edge. Underlying nutty woody chocolate smoothness. The sweetness gradually takes on more prominence. Medium bodied. Medium-thick bodied. Oily. Flat-average carbonation. Long astringent finish. Really enjoyed this. Smooth sweet sourness... whatever that means. Smooth palate. Smooth.

Hazy amber beer, thin head. Tangy, fruity aroma with a little malt. Flavour has the same, with a good maltiness be to it and a little spice perhaps. Hearty and very tasty.

Leeds Beer Festival 2017. Golden-amber and very strong tasting. It’s very sweet too but not overly enjoyable.

Bottle. Cotteridge Beano v2. Lovely, fruity malts. Treacle. Some woody notes. Taste is light sweet. Some tang. Light astringency on the palate. Good stuff. Smells better than it tastes, though.
