Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 24th November 2021. Amber with shallow, off-white foam and spot lacing. Richly malty, caramel aroma. Fruity, spicy and malty in-mouth, and a finish of nutty malts and spices. Smooth mouthfeel and light body.

Can from Bourne Valley Garden Centre Farm Shop. Now 4.5%. Aroma has stone fruit and jammy sweetness, but also is somewhat eggy. Slightly hazy. Copper gold. Creamy white head. Medium bitter with a tart sour edge. Stone fruit, citrus and resin. A hint of quinine. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Fizzy carbonation. Dry slightly astringent finish. I like it. Not in your face, a pleasant marmalade APA.
