Many thanks to Erzengel for this 27.5cl bottle! Pourrs clear copper colour with a mid-sized good lasting off-white head. Aroma of red fruits, apples, nuts and toasted malt. Taste of mild bitter hops, red malt, red fruits, nuts, apples, interesting!

The beer is smooth and round. Nice caramel with great ale characteristics. Fresh with smooth maltiness. Round and dry. Nice smooth Ale aftertaste, dry malty with a moderate bitterness. Round and nice bitter

Scopey 10K Celebrations in deepest Croydonia. Almost clear amber beer, a few white bubbles. Palate is light, dry and low carbonation. Dry caramel malts, whisper of marmite and molasses. Some dried fruits and bitter toffee. Light semi dry finish. No eggy yeast bollocks which is nice, the other flavours are decent but the palate is a let down, dry and flat.

Bottle shared during Scopey’s 10k tasting - big thanks to Scopey. Pours clear gold with a frothy white head. Musty grainy bread in the nose, old leaves. Light sweet flavor, some butterscotch, bitter leaves, brown bread. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Husky, grainy bitterness on the finish, some buttered toast, leafy hops. Not excellent.

Bottle split at Scopey 10K, thanks to Harvey fanny boy, 26/11/15. Clear golden amber with a moderate off White covering that quickly dissipates to nyadda. Nose is fruit cake, apple orchard, biscuit, straw, earthy. Taste comprises brown bread, a little kvass like, tea cake, malt. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close with a light bitter edge. Ok.

Bottle from Middle Farm, shared at my 10K tasting. It pours clear deep amber with minimal head. The nose is soft, earthy, toasty wood, light toffee, rivita and cheap brown bread. The taste is light bitterness, toasty, earthy, brown bread, light chewiness and toffee with a short, dry finish. Light body and fine carbonation. Slight oiliness. Shame this is pasteurised and not on cask. Simple and easy-going.
