Level 42 botteshare. Thanks to Paul. Hazy gold beer, bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly crisp. A modest gueuze vibe here, touch of wet wood. A little lemon and mildly tart dried fruits. Tangy finish. Not bad.

Bottle shared at level 42 Canary wharf tasting. 11/07/2016. Many thanks to Scopey for this one. A murky dull brown coloured pour with a lose off white head. Aroma is bretty, perfumed lemon, pineapple. Flavour is composed of bitty grains, wheat, dirty straw, pineapple, little dirty lemon, dirty slightly stale grains. Palate is raw bitty grains, highish carbonation. Not bad funk character.

Bottle at Level 42 tasting, thanks to Bropey, 11/07/16. Murky amber avec floaties topped with a moderate beige swirl ... no looker. Nose is pretty basic for the style, light citric snap, chemical notes, faint TCP, light balsa wood, tarte fruit. Taste comprises light acidity, wood must, dirty orange, musty, tarte citric peel, grain. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Rather basic and unrefined ... munching simultaneously on Fergus’s smart Ees probably helped lift this rating!

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Scopey. Gusher! Pours murky gold-brown with minimal head. The nose has light brett funk, some ripe berries, a little sweat. Light sweet flavour, a bit yeasty and woody, with light acidity, more brett farmyard, earthy bitterness. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Dry and somewhat bitter on the finish, with more dry yeast, pithy orange, some bitter rind. So so.

Bottle at level 42. Gusher! It pours murky muddy amber with a big white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, brett, wood, barnyard, stewed orange, Irn Bru and tango. The taste is earthy, wood, soda water, spicy, lemon rinse, orange peel, farmyard, varnish and a metallic twang with a dry, woody finish. Medium body and high, foamy carbonation. Better than the white, but still pretty basic.
