Bottle thanks to Mike at the 2016 Cotteridge Convention. It pours cloudy deep brown with a small off-white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, tangy dark fruits, fruit cake, cocoa and candy. The taste is rich, bitter, tangy, fruity, date, plum, prune, wood, earth, slight acidity and sherbet. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty interesting tangy fruits to it. Not bad.

Bottle shared at the Cotteridge Convention - 2016 edition. Cheers! Pours unclear brown with a creamy head. The nose gives off faint brett, with other notes of roast and poo. Moderately sweet, with more poo, raisin, brown bread. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish, with some lightly toasted, bready malts and funky accents. Pretty OK.

Bottle Share at Ratebeer meet up, Cotteridge Wines, Cotteridge, Birmingham Saturday 5th March 2016 cheers to Mike the Landlocked brewer for this one, good to see you as well Mike. Pours dark brown a little bit of murkiness. The damsons are there but perhaps not quite as strident as I was expecting. Fruity throughout, easy drinking for the abv, light tang, nice beer.
