Bottle @ home. Hazy yellow color, medium sized white to off-white head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is lightly malts, very hoppy, fruit hops. Tastes the same: lightly malts, plenty of hops, fruity and fresh. Superb hoppy pale ale as always from The Kernel. Lovely again!

BOTTLE 50 CL. Hazy amber, sticky white head. Aroma of sweet fruit, mango and ripe oranges, zest syrup. Subdued malts. The taste is quite similar, sweet fruit, subtle biscuity malts. Solid bitter finish, zesty and crisply resiny. Smooth mouthfeel. Some rotten fruit by the end of the glass.

Hazy gold beer, good cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has a nice fine crispness. Thin but silky malts, mildly sweet, Hops are orangey and not that bitter. Nice pine. Touches of lemon and hop spice and a bare whisper of something tropical. Light semi dry finish. Smooth and tasty but not getting the normal Kernel fireworks.

Keg at Four Hundred Rabbits, Crystal Palace. It pours hazy golden with a thick white head. The aroma is soft, fresh, juicy, passion fruit, mango, orange muffin, sherbet, fruit salad sweets and pina colada. The taste is soft, mellow bitterness, apricot, mango, passion fruit, hint of spring onions, orange muffin, touch of dankness, grass and tropical fruit candy with a smooth finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Reminds me Vermont hop juice of the highest order. Delicious!

Bottle at home in London - picked up at Offie and Toffee. Pours mostly clear orange-gold with a fluffy, white head. Classic, beautiful Kernel APA aroma, with plenty of lightly juicy and pithy citrus fruits, some orange, tangerine, mango, hints of pine, dry pale bread. Light to medium sweet flavour with more subtly juicy citrus fruits, more tangerine, some pithy grapefruit, orange rind, light spicy pine, perfectly balancing pale malt sugars. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with just a touch of oily resin, then lots of clean and pithy citrus fruit, some lightly bitter rind and pine, dry pale bread, more tangerine, some mango. The balance and subtle yet vibrant hop expression here is just stunning. There are really very few other breweries in Europe that can match this.
