Level 42 Bottleshare. Thanks to Paul. Hazy amber beer, bubbly cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Thin malts with nice tangy fruits. Some aged must and a little wet wood. Some mild floralness in the light finish. Clearly aged but still enjoyable.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Scopey. Pours clear, rich orange with a slim, creamy topping. Good aged malts in the nose, some oxidation, marmalade. Medium sweet flavour with lot metallic notes, tangy citric notes, old and dried out bread. Medium bodied, lightly oily, with soft carbonation. Finishes with more oily notes, dried orange peel, old bread crust. Not that bad. (November 2017)

Bottle shared at Cotteridge convention 05/03/2016. Thanks to Steve i’ve known. a murky golden amber, no head. Aroma is spicy apple, oxidisated heavily, woody, paper, . Flavour is sour apple, woody grape, oak and cider vinegar, little soy. This is completely fucked. Palate is tangy. Terrible.

Bottle. Cotteridge Beano v2. Murky wet paper. I found this just about undrinkable. Well past tackling.

50th Anniversary version thanks to BIK at Cotteridge Convention 2016. It pours murky deep brown with no head to speak of. The aroma is quite rich, musty, funky, oxidised, dirt and dust. The taste is tart, earthy, umami, musty, tangy, oxidised malts and Granny smith apple. The finish is pretty musty and dirty. Medium body and fine, yet foamy carbonation. Way past its prime. Proper knackered.

A hazy amber beer with a small beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of yeast, acid, and hops. The flavor is sweet and very hoppy combined with notes of oil, grass, and caramel.
