Bottlshare at Mr Smith’s pad. Thanks to Matteo. Hazy gold beer, short pale cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and fairly crisp. Pretty tart, some lemon acid creeping in. Floral rhubarb with an and acetic burn on the dry finish. Like so many beers from Wild Beer these days, a bit aggressive.

Bottle shared at Leighton’s place 14/04/2016. Many thanks to Matteo for this one. . Clouded dull yellow coloured pour with a small halo of head. Aroma is big sour lacto, funk, a little sweetness, slightly mould note. Flavour is composed of tart pithy lemon, funky acetic, spicy sourness, little burny, a little mouldy. Palate is semi sweet and harsh sourness, highish carbonation. Not a big fan.

Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Matteo. Pours unclear yellow with a creamy, white head. Nice aroma, with tart rhubarb and lemon. Light sweet flavour, tart, with chewy rhubarb, lemon, salty bite. Light bodied with average carbonation. Salty, sweaty, moderately acetic on the finish, more lemon and fresh rhubarb. Novel, maybe just a little too biting.

Bottle at Bespin, thanks to the Matalian, 14/04/16. Lightly hazed golden orange with a fast disappearing off white head. Nose is pissy citric, peach youghurt, rhubarb sours, light acidic tickle. Taste comprises lemon rind, sharp citrics, rhubarb compote, damp straw, light balsa wood, green berry pang. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, acidic rise with a semi puckering finale. Decent enough sour.

Keg at CASC. It pours cloudy bright orange with a decent white head. The nose is funky, juicy, sweet apricot, peach, rhubarb, vinous, white wine, earthy brett and gooseberry. The taste is tart, juicy, funky, tangy apricot, peach, sherbet, rhubarb, decent acidity, earth, Granny Smith apple and white wine with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Juicy, tart and fruity. Perhaps a touch acidic, but pretty delicious.
