Bottle from Balmaha. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - honey, light caramel and biscuits. Taste - caramel and light custard. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a finish that could be fresher. Overall - decent but a bit cloying on the finish.

Bottle thanks to WMW at the 2016 Cotteridge Convention. Thanks for picking up this Scottish Whale! It pours clear pale gold with a medium white head. The nose is fresh, perfumed, floral, lemon and orange blossom. The taste is crisp, clean, bright, light bitterness, perfumed, floral notes and citrus peel with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. A nice fresh low-boost golde. Good palate cleanser amidst the tasting.

Bottle shared at the Cotteridge Convention - 2016 edition. Cheers, WW! Pours perfectly clear yellow with a frothy, white head. Pleasant lemon and other citrus in the nose, some dry hay. Light sweet flavour with a mild mineral edge, some citrus peel, pale grains. Light bodied with average carbonation. Dry and pithy on the finish, with notes of pale grains, hay and lemon rind. Fine stuff overall.
