Our black india pale ale. Marmalade and pine aromas lead to roast and spice flavours followed by a bitter coffee finish.

50cl bottle @ Sebar. Dark color, almost black, clear, deep red see-thru. Short tan head. Strong aroma, roasted malts, coffee and chocolate, with IPA bittering. Earthy with fruity overtones. Full bodied, average carbonation, creamy texture. Quite heavy and filling, powerdul even if ABV is relatively low. Very good.

Bottle shared at CBC Clapham - London. Many thanks to Kenwise. Pours clear, reddish brown with a creamy, off-white head. The nose is lightly roasty, with touches of burnt pine. Light to medium sweet flavour with some grassy bitterness, faint roast, orange rind. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly resinous on the finish, with inklings of chocolate and earth and pine. Good stuff overall.

Clear deep amber - brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light and fairly crisp. Good dark malts with thin cream and a trace of roast. Touch of dark fruits. Good piney hop overlay with mild floral bitterness and citrus fruits. Light semi dry finish. Piney bitter linger. Decent.

Bottle thanks to Kenny. It pours clear deep brown with a small off-white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, juicy, Dandelion & Burdock, dried orange, apricot and peach. The taste is bitter - sweet, earthy roast, charred pine, mild hop astringency, tannins, chewy malt and peppery spice. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty nice stuff.

Cask at Three Judges, Glasgow - Deep brown to black body, thin tan head. Nose is tangy fruits, roasted malts, and a bold hoppiness. Slightly bitter at first taste, a little piney with some dark cake fruit bitterness. Well balanced with a nice solid oily mouthfeel. Very good.
