Bottle from Craft Beer Kings. Pours brown with a transient tan head. Aroma hints of sour with fruits and arguably bourbon. Med body or so. Flavor is slightly sour, woody, treacle, mixed fruits, bourbon. It’s not a painful sour, but it is sour. With time the bourbon develops a bit. As does mixed "light" fruit. Some musty wood is in the mix.

Grand tasting at Craft Islington with Hackobock. Clear amber beer, good pale tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Smooth malts, mild cream, trace of oaky vanilla. Mellow floralness. Sourish red fruits. Whisper of barrel wood. Smooth semi dry finish. Nice.

Bottle at The Craft Islington bottle share, cheers! It pours clear rich red - brown with a medium white head. The aroma is tart, vinous, very woody, vanilla, oak, vinegar, tangy and soft bourbon notes. The taste is crisp, tart, tangy, damp wood, earth. musty, farmyard, fair amount of acidity, red wine vinegar and balsamic vinegar, Medium body and fine carbonation. A little bit weird with a decent amount of vinegar going on. Lacks a bit of depth. Fair.
