Bottle shared at the Hackobock tasting at Craft Islington. Thanks to Andy for providing me with this one! It pours hazy reddish - brown with a small beige head. The aroma is soft, sweet, sour, tangy jammy berry, Victoria sponge, red wine, port and funk. The taste is crisp, tart, tangy, redcurrant, jammy fruits aplenty, candy, vanilla, sherbet, some acidity, wood and funk with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Works very well. Fruity, funky and tasty.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Paul. Pours clear orange with a slight, foamy white head. Good tangy fruits, berries and funk in the nose. Light sweet flavour with woody dryness, moderate acidity, peach, tangerine. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with bracing acidity, more woody dryness, citrusy tartness, a little alcohol warmth. Good stuff.

Bottle pour at Shelton Brothers. Lovely earthy cherry and wild raspberry nose. Some balsamic vinegar notes with more dark cherry and cacao. Good tartness, but mellowed out with the body, vinous texture. Solid. --- Beer merged from original tick of Le Coq on 29 Oct 2016 at 10:15 - Score: 7

Bottle - Batch 3 - Plum, cherry and some light vinous notes with a touch of funk. Cloudy reddish copper with a decent white head. Lightly acidic, lots of cherry and a bit of a syrupy finish. Nice.

0,75 bottle shared by mortlach at Buskers pub in Rome-Italy. Grazie. Pours a bright amber color going orange peel, orangish cap. Weird and nice appearance. Nose: rough and wild blast or yeast, white vinegar, barley. Mouth: dominant sour blast, some red fruit and a hint of sweet note in the background. Lovely!

Nose of cherry, yogurt, grapefruit, dust. Lovely cherry flavor, nutty pips, a bit creamy, nice tartness. Very dry, and somewhat grassy. Great.
