Draft @ Pitt Cue. Orange, col fin beige.

High Wycombe Walkabout. Heidrun. Cask. Hazy amber beer, no real head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, reasonable carbonation. Soft malts, fair bit of tangy toffee. Ripe fruits. Touch of apple. Light floral bitterness. Borderline acceptable.

A reddy amber hazed coloured pour with a lasting beige head. Aroma is musty sour fruit, toasted malts, slightly musty. Spicy rye grains. Flavour is musty dour, oxidised spicy Rye bread solvent. Palate is grainy, moderate carbonation. Pretty bad.

Daft at Heidrun - High Wycombe. Pours mostly clear copper with a creamy, yellowish head. Toasted the grains in the nose, mellow toffee. Light sweet flavour with hints of toffee, more toasted rye grains, graham cracker. Light bodied with velvety carbonation: fairly smooth in the finish, with some earthy bitterness, continuing toasted grains. Not bad.

Cask at the Rake. It pours clear deep amber - brown with a decent off-white head. The aroma is malt-driven, brown bread, light spice, cereal and toffee. The taste is bitter, wood, brown bread, toffee, peppery spice and cereal with a dry finish. Medium body and lowish carbonation. Nothing wrong with it, just a touch unexciting.
