High Wycombe Walkabout. Bootleggers. Cask. Light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Smooth malts bring a light touch of creamy sweetness. Nice mellow smoke. Mellow citrus and a trace of peach. Smooth finish. Tidy.

Draft at the Bootleggers - High Wycombe. Pours clear orange-gold with a slender, white head. The nose has some pleasant smoked malts, a little honeyed ham, pale bread. Light sweet flavour with lightly toasted bread, some further smoked ham, burnt honey, light leafy bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with dry smokiness, more honey ham, hints of caramel. Enjoyable.

Cask at Bootlegger. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, rich, smoke, grainy and ham. The taste is dry, some bitterness, underlying sweetness, smoked meat, chewy malt and cereal with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Faulty basic smoked beer.
