Leighton’s flat clearance. Thanks to Leighton. As ’Harper I’.Hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is light, dry and has a fine crispness. Good punchy apricot, sourish lemon and some lemon sherbet. Mild orange. Whisper of that bitter nutty taste that sours sometimes get but thankfully not that strong here. Light finish. Interesting beer.

Bottle shared by Nelson on 9/16/16.
Lightly hazy, drab brass-golden with a small-to-medium-sized, beige-tinted, white head showing moderate to moderately low retention.
Oak and apricots collide quite powerfully in the nose, producing both toastiness and fruit-driven acidity. Light to moderate acetic character, as well as plentiful lactic acid sustain the acidity and while it smells good, it definitely smells like a stomach ache. Fruits are authentic and quite acidic, with zero sweetness left. The oak tannin and light caramel character comprise the backbone, which seems to not-quite balalnce the acidity, though it doesn’t come off astringent.
Intensely sour in the mouth, with enamel-stripping, puckering sourness augmented by the apricot acidity. Lactic and moderate acetic acid linger, with light to moderate oak character. Soft-to-oily texture with engaging, low carbonation. Reminds me quite a bit of De Garde, which may be off-putting to some, but once the palate acclimates to the sourness, I find it really enjoyable.

Bottle shared in London. Pours lightly hazy gold with a slim, white foam head. Nice tart lemon and peach and apricot in the aroma. Light sweet flavour with sturdy acidity, tart lemon, some fleshy apricots. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Tart finish with bracing acidity, more tangy apricot, peach, lemon. Great stuff.
