16 oz. can, purchased at7 Eleven, Kittery, ME. Canning date of 6/6/16. Hazy gold like color with thin lasting head in a standard shaker glass. Aroma shows me white bread, grain, and pine resin. Maybe even black pepper.

Grain backbone with easy about of malt. The bitterness is here just enough to let you know it is not an APA. That said the body is lean with a sweet malt finish. Standard offering but it drinks well and doesn’t show any problems.

Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with a creamy-foamy head creating some thick lacing. Grainy aromas with pretty nice, fresh hoppy notes. The taste starts off with the grain, caramel malts especially going into the grassy hops. The finish is bitter, sharp and a little dry. The caramel also comes out with time in the nose, resulting in some sweetness over the grassiness. An overall pretty good IPA. Not a hopbomb and that’s fine.

Can: Poured a yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy and piney hops with light flora undertones is pretty good. Taste is a mix of citrusy and piney hops notes with some light residual sugar notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not bad but name can be deceiving due to the large number of world-class IPA being brewed in Vermont.
