Cask @ Regal Moon, Rochdale. Clear blonde with a creamy head. Very malty with its lager mate and a high bitterness.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Commercial Rooms, Bristol October 2016. Golden with a thin, white, head. Light lemon notes, a touch of lager malts, touch of leafy hop and moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Tap at Herbert Wells, Woking. 27/10/16. Really bad, a flat golden ale more than a pilsner. Nil aroma. Bright gold, with a passable white head. Watery, chalky. No crispness to it or anything vaguely pilsner-esque.

Cask at the Booking Office. Pours pale yellow with a thin white head. Aromas are a bit grim. Funky lemon and butter. Off lemon curd maybe. Taste is more lemon, better than the nose, but from a low bar. Sulphurous aftertaste.

Cask at Canary Wharf Spoons. It pours clear yellow - gold with a small white head. The aroma is straw, toasted grass, mild sweetness, candied lemon and white bread. The taste is crisp, dry, quite floral, lemongrass, peppery spice, grass and straw with a dry finish. Light body and soft carbonation. Not a huge amount going on, but it drinks easy. Not bad.

Cask at the Prince Arthur (JDW), Fleet. A pale straw colour with a thin white head; floral aroma; dry floral taste with a sweet grainy body; and a crisp grassy bitterness. Light and refreshing, put not really a Pilsner.

Cask at the William Withering. Pours clear gold with thin head that disappeared quickly. Aroma is grass and malts, taste is a malt hit that is nicely balanced with grass and hay. A decent cask Pils.
