(Draught at Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell, London, 22 April 2017, as "East Bay Pilgrimage") Pale amber colour with foamy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with orange marmalade, apricots, tropical fruit and pineapple. Malty, fruity taste with notes of apricots, orange marmalade, mandarin, pineapple and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Fresh and tasty. Nice one.

Cask at CBC Clerko, as East Bay Pilgrimage (dry hop version), 24/04/17. Golden with a decent white head. Nose is pithy citric peel, lemon rind, grass, green hop tones, grains. Taste comprises bitter orange, not as aggressively hopped as the nose suggested, citric drenched straw, airy malts. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close with semi aggressive hop bitterness. Quite the bitter bastard, perhaps too much and coming across as overly harsh at times.

Cask at the CBC Clerks - London. Pours clear gold with minimal head. The nose has some dried lemon, pale bread, faint caramel maybe. Light sweet flavour with crunchy grains, grassy bitterness, orange peel. Light bodied, lightly oily, with fine carbonation. Finishes with more grassy hops, slight resinous pine, citrus peel, dried grains. So so overall.
