Box bag at PoW, Farnborough. Floral aroma before the tart rhubarb aroma kicks in.light orange. No head. Not very sour. More sugary sweet. Medium bodied. Slick. Soft to flat carbonation. Abrupt finish. OK but not tart at all, more alcopop.

26/3/2018. Cask at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell. Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma of very sweet rhubarb. Heavy sweetness, very light sour. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Nice if you like your rhubarb sweet, but too sweet for me.

At Lord Hop, Nuneaton. Gold hazy colour. Big rhubarb smell. Almost spicy, almost burns. Touch of apple vinegar. Taste is sweet with an intense sweet/savoury of rhubarb. Long gritty, scrumpy-y and almost herbal finish. Way too strong on the rhubarb but I enjoyed that aspect if a slightly masochistic way...

(Cask at Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell, London, 27 Nov 2017) Golden colour with foamy, white head. Fruity nose with apples, rhubarb and tropical fruit. Fruity, sweet taste with notes of apples, rhubarb, mango and a slight rhubarb tartness in a fairly sweet finish. Medium body, quite sweet. Too sweet for my liking, but there are some enjoyable flavours here.

Cask @ The Pub, Todmorden. Cloudy pale peach coloured. The rhubarb is tangy but flavoursome and sweet.

08-09-17 // cask at The Mill, Cambridge, UK. Oh man this would so great with carbonation and not from cask. So it is just very juicy, sweet sour Aroma. Cask at craft beer co Covent garden. Pours pinkish orange, nose is rhubarb rock, apple juice, taste is juicy apple and rhubarb, sweet, basically juice.

BIAB at Half Moon, Darlington. Orangey gold colour, afew bubbles on top and aroma of rhubarb, caramel. Taste is sweet, rhubarb, sugar syrup, toffee, caramel, vanilla, some apple notes. Syrupy mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, sweet finish. OK.

500ml bottle. Hazy pinkish peach. Much more vibrant fruity rhubarb this time with a soft fuzzy feel. Re-rate. Half from a plastic milk bottle @ Stratford Alehouse. Pours a hazy peach. Decent-enough fruity rhubarb aroma, taste has a pleasing rhubarb presence, moderately sweet, some vanilla. Like all the other Lilleys fruit ciders, itโs not aiming for ultimate flavour complexity.. but for a light fruity rhubarb cider it does the job.
