Bottle thanks to the Kernel. It pours lightly hazy golden - orange with a medium white head. The aroma is quite soft, mellow, bready malts, subtle fruitiness... touch of gooseberry, kiwi and pineapple. The taste is crisp, dry, quite bitter, bread, toasty grain, grassy, slightly herbal, fruits of the green variety.... melon, greengage and kiwi. Finish is pretty dry and bitter. Medium body and fine carbonation. Quite an interesting balance if flavours and not typical kernel. Nice one.

Bottle sourced from the brewery. A mostly clear golden orange coloured pour with a lively rocky white head. More lively rather other Kernels. Aroma is unusual delicate green berries, kiwi, hint of weed, hedgerow fruit. soft bready grains on the nose as well. Flavour is composed of soft pale malts, weedy grassy hop , kiwi. Big weed componet to the flavour. Palate is soft , highish carbonation, massaging. Assertive bittering hop. Interesting beer.

Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced from Clapton Craft. Pours clear orangey yellow with a big, foamy white head. Nice aroma, some dried pine, orange peel, crisp pale malts. Light sweet flavour with hints of grapefruit, dried tangerine and orange, piney bitterness, dry pale malts. Light bodied with lively, massaging carbonation. Finishes with steadying piney bitterness, more dry pale malts, sun-withered citrus fruits. Really enjoyable beer.

Bottle at home, 21/03/17. Hazed orange with a decent off white covering that retains well. Nose is orange wine gums, citric tinged straw, lemon rind, toasted bread, grains, tangy melon. Taste comprises bitter orange, fresh grass, toasted grains, citric tinged straw, light bread, cantaloupe melon, light spice, floral chase tempered with chalky mineral notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close peppered with earthy hop bitterness. Quite a bitter number but well balanced and show cases the hop well.

Golden color, creamy white head, some lacework. Aroma with light hoppy notes, some citrus. Flavor is slightly bittery, light maltiness. Dry and light bitterness on palate. Very different from what we are used of Kernel.

Hazy gold beer, big pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry and finely crisp. Light malts, mildly sweet, trace of cream. Jester hops seem quite mild here. Light lime and tangerine and mild pine. Smooth finish. Nice beer just wish there was more intensity on this lovely UK hop.

Bottle from the brewery and drunk at home. Hazy dirty gold colour lasting near white head. A little dirty on the fruit. Some lemon grapefruit and a little tropical fruit. It’s a rather good apa with lots of fruit all over the beer. Very decent.
