330ml bottle from lowcostbeer.com @ 4.5%. Pours clear rusty red, small off-white head, thin retention. Classic red ale aroma of sweet malts, raisins, toffee although maybe a hint of metallic hop. Taste is a mixed bag, sweet, raisin fruitiness, caramel, rusty metal, astringent. Light to medium bodied, wet palate, carbonation is decent. Flawed beer but there are some nice flavour elements to this.

330ml bottle @ Cromwell's Tap House, Shrewsbury. Deep mahogany appearance, good off-white head. Malty nose. Not the best red ale, light grain, light sweetness, bittersweet malt.. Fine.

330ml bottle at 4.5%. Pours dark gold with a small head. Aroma is dark fruity caramel. Taste is bready, dark red fruits and caramel.

Bottle from Beer52. Exploded all over the kitchen on opening. The remaining half of the bottle poured murky amber colour with a huge craggy off-white head. Taste was slightly metallic with caramel, orange and a little grapefruit. Mild bitterness. Overall it’s just about ok.

Bottle @ Grahams. Pours golden with a huge white head. Aroma of light malt, yeast, light brett, light fruity hops. Flavor is light sweet, malt, yeast, hint of brett, sweet fruity hops, strawberry. Thin to medium body, lively carbonation, light dry finish. Slightly infected, but kindoff works. 160217

Bottle. Nice frothy head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are lots of carbonation, malt, fruits and hops. Way too carbonated.

Bottle from random beer store in Chelmsford. Hazy amber with a big and lasting off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, slightly bretty and light hoppy - citrus. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 160217
