Aroma’s a fragrant blend of roast, peppers, dark malt. Flavor’s like nose, peppers come out a bit, zero heat, touch sweet, metallic. Good body and finish.

Bottle EBF, 2/3/17.
Dark black-to-mahogany body is of undetermined clarity with a light tan head atop showing moderate retention.
BBQ notes rise up with lots of wood, red pepper and a smattering of earthy, fruity coffee behind it. Roastiness and dry ashiness on the very end, with only light interludes of fudge and no alcohol or flaw.
The serranos are quick to emerge on the palate. The body is on the dry, medium-full side with lots of chocolate and coffee. It holds the heat pretty well, but this does get heavily spicy towards the finish which has light fudge, espresso and vanilla with more bbq-like smokiness that could be the interplay of pepper, coffee and roasted malt. Moderate carbonation, fairly engaging. Lots of pepper and espresso character lingering. Not too shabby, love the kick.

A bit thin in mouthfeel, but great taste here. Chocolatey, rich, and great heat from the serranos.

Smells super chilli/sambal. Tastes it, but without the heat. Earthy chocolate, a bit sweet. Bonus for weirdness.

650ml bottle. Pours pitch black with a small head. Aroma of roasty malts, coffee, chili, peppers, hints of vegetables. Taste is smooth, slightly roasty and sweetish with hints of coffee, syrup, chili and peppers. Finish is sweetish and roasty with hints of syrup, coffee and peppers. Okay, slightly spicy and sweetish stout.

65 cl bottle @ Leppävaara. BBE 16.08.2016
Aroma has vegetable-like chili typical to coffee beers – but I guess this time it is real chili even though it feels very authentic. Flavour has jalopeno-like vegetables, some licorice, coffee and sweet maltiness. Not sure what to think about this one.

Sample at SBWF 2016. Black with a tan head. Aroma and taste of roasted malt, chocolate and some chili. Also some coffee in the finish. The mouthfeel was kind of "soft".

Bottle. Pours inky black with small foamy beige head, faint coffee and chili aroma, medium carbonation, bitter coffee taste with hot chili, thin body, long bitter coffee and hot chili finish. Very interesting and hot brew.
