Level 42 Bottlshare. Thanks to Fergus. Hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is smooth and mildly dry, good fine carbonation. Smooth malts, a light sweetness. Decent piney hop, light hop spice. Orange and tangerine. Trace of tropical fruits. Light finish. Nice.

Bottle from Utobeer, Borough Market (of course). Sweet floral citrus aroma. An opaque amber gold. Thick frothy white head. Medium bitter. Juicy citrus. However a harsh edge appears. Light bodied. Thin. Fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. Perfectly drinkable but no better than adequate. A pity after the good start in terms of aroma and appearance.

Bottle at L42, thanks to Fergus. It pours lightly hazy yellow with a small white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, cracker, grass, floury white bread and straw. The taste is dry, bitter, pithy, zesty citrus, soda water, salted cracker and grass. Finish is dry. Light - medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. A fairly run of the mill APA by all accords.

Bottle split at L42, the lift disaster tasting, thanks to Fergoose 23/08/17. Lightly hazed golden blonde with a decent off white cap. Nose is lemon rind, straw, hint of weed, melon, grains. Taste comprises faint soap, melon, tangerine, toasted grains, grass, lemon zest, pithy citrics. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a dusting of hops. Didn’t really pull away from 3rd gear for me.

Bottle shared in London - cheers! Pours clear yellow with a creamy, white head. The nose has citrusy hops, a little pee, lemon zest. Light sweet flavour with more citrus, lemon in particular, hay, dry pale malts. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, pithy and rindy. Not bad.
