Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced from the brewery. Pours deep brown with a frothy, tan head. The nose has a nice caramel-esque coffee character, modest roast, toasted brown bread. Light to medium sweet flavour with silky coffee character, more brown bread, some dried berries, hints of cocoa and earth. Light to medium bodied with massaging carbonation. Finishes with restrained coffee, hints of raisins and milk chocolate, mellow earthy bitterness, more mild roasted malts. Really drinkable stuff.

Bottle at home picked up from the brewery. A murky dark brown coloured pour with a lasting creamy light tan head. Aroma is nice mix of woody coffee beans and jammy fruits, big lush freshly brewed coffee with a bit of cream. Notes of pine resin on the nose as well. Flavour is composed of spicy woody coffee notes, little bark, jammy fruits, chalk, woody malts. Palate is slightly thin, highish carbonation, airy , little powdery in the finish. goog coffee character, maybe a little thin.

On tap at Brew By Numbers, pours a murky dark brown with some cloudy, white head. Nose has coffee and malt, some malta soda, something a touch green. Flavor hits with green bell pepper at the start, the brown sugar, tamarind, coffee is there but really in the back. Finishes dry and a bit tannic.
