33cl bottle. A clear dark reddish brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of raisins, dark malt, dried fruits, caramel. Taste of dark sweet caramelized malt, chocolate, raisins, full body. Good!

Pours unclear, caramelly brown. Small white head. Smell is sweet, bit caramelly. Taste is perhaps a bit sharp. Mild bitter side, bit sweet. Carbonation ruins most of the palate. Mild spicyness to it, but is does take the upperhand in the taste-spectrum. Sweet, caramel and spiced ending. OK

Bottle shared. Pours unclear brown with a very short lived tan head. Aroma of malt, dark fruit, raisins, caramel, brown bread and toffee. Flavour is over moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation. Not a bad example of the style.

The dark counterpart of Kameleon Amber, with a stable, off-white, moussy head and deep but clear bronze colour. Aroma of iron, bitter chocolate, sage, caramel and jute; dry taste, metallic, nutty malts, some roasted bitterness in the finish, ending a bit wry. I liked this even less than their Amber, should get more body and more candi sugar.

Average Belgian dubbel. It’s nice and all, but just not very interesting. So many of these.

33cl bottle.

Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, nr Gent, Belgium, consumed at home, Thursday 19th October 2012. Pours brown with off-white head vanilla ice cream and some spice, mmmhh... not the best of combinations. I actually wasn’t really that struck on this. A6 A3 T5 P3 Ov11 2.8
