Beavertown Trillium TTO. Bottle. Light haze on this brown beer, small pale tan head. Mellow but tangy darkish malts. Mild dark chocolate. Some oxidised tasting caramel. Light finish brings some powdery dark chocolate. Different!

Bottle at Beavertown. It pours cloudy dark brown with a medium white head. The aroma is earthy, toasty, cacao nibs, coffee grounds, citrus peel and earth. The taste is bitter, earthy roast, toasty, coffee grounds, cookie dough, full smoke and ash with a drying finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Pretty decent.

Bottle shared at Beavertown. Pours clear rich brown with a creamy, khaki head. Burnt grains in the nose, dusty cocoa, mellow roast. Medium sweet flavour with some scorched earth, bitter chocolate, more roast. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with a little boozy warmth, bittersweet cocoa, ashy roast, scorched earth. Good beer overall.
