Keg tap at the Head of Steam, Leicester. Golden and opaque with a small film of white head. It's got a mild aroma, and the saison yeast clashes a bit with the orange. It works better in the mouth, with the tartness of the fruit offsetting the sweet and spicy yeast. It's a bit acidic in the short finish. Low to medium carbonation. Pretty good without being over-exciting.

Keg at the brewery. A light hazed golden yellow coloured pour with a laying fine white head. Aroma is wheat, rubber and banana yeast esters, light damp grains, hint of smoke. Flavour is composed of doughy tangy wheat, pithy citrus, wheat. Palate is tangy, grainy, moderate carbonation. Closer to a hefe for me. Lingering banana and clove yeast.

Taste comprises lemon tinged straw, yeast esters, herbal notes, grass, light white peppery spice, orange peel, light tanins. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough saison.

Keg at BrewDog CJ. It pours lightly hazy golden - yellow with a small white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, sweet, blood orange, candied peel and some bready malts. The taste is crisp, dry, slightly tart, spice, hay, candied citrus fruits, blood orange and a touch of alcohol with a dry, zesty finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Fresh and engaging stuff.

On tap at the brewery Bermondsey. Hazy orange gold colour lasting white head. Yes orange flavour and aroma. Some saison yeast flavour too. Dry. Some bitterness and acidity from the orange. The blood orange dominates the saison. Decent enough. Dry spiciness. Some banana.
