Bottle (2017) pour shared by ClarkVV--thanks, Clark! It's a dark brown with ruby, nice sparkle, ring of beige head and no lacing. Aroma is strong tart fruit, oak and traces of wine. Taste is strong tart dark fruit, oak, red wine. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, I appreciate some complexity but not a fan of the style so it's only going to be so good for me.

750mL 2017 bottle, drunk 7/30/22. Clear, mahogany-hazelnut, beige head fades quickly to ring. Sour cherry, flemish-like with oak tannin, leather, vanilla and a fair amount of acetic acid. Smells pretty acetic.... Cherry, date, raisin, soft, thin, not that sour, but full of caramel and vanilla. A bit mushy and slightly too sweet. Not a mess, but this has lost the balancing acidity if it ever had some. Flabby.

Bottle shared in London - sourced from the brewer. Pours deep red-brown with a small, foamy beige head. Nice aroma, some aged berries, old wood, sweat, raspberry, vinegar. Medium sweet flavour with nice tart and jammy berries, nips of toffee, brown bread, mild balsamic. Meidum to full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish, with more vinegar accents, red wine, more aged jammy berries. Great stuff overall. Good depth, good intensity, still well balanced.
