Can, 11C. Darkish brown with an off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit and citrus flowers over crackers, mocha and licorice. 7+ Pretty light bodied with moderate carbonation. Not very sweet but with crackers, licorice, mocha and light roast, there's decisive malt presence, which makes the hop aromatics and medium high bitterness at the end work well. Some of the hops are a bit untidy with some herbal notes as well as citrus and a little pine, but given the overall balance just seemed to add a little punch at the end.

Can shared in London - thanks to Tipple. Pours clear reddish brown with a small, creamy tan head. The nose holds well toasted pine, brown bread, dried orange peel. Light sweet flavour with some old wood, leather, orange rind. Meidum bodied, lightly oily, with fine carbonation. Finishes with some resin, grainy toast, dried orange rind. So so.

Can at L42 - thanks to Tipple. It pours hazy brown with a small beige head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, raw, green, bright, sticky, cocoa, toffee, caramel and orange marmalade. The taste is dry, bitter, oily, rich roasted malt, coffee, rawness, green, oniony, raw, peppery spice, coffee, skunk and garlic with a dry, charred finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Filthy, but fun.

Thanks to Tips for the can. Almost opaque brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth soft palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft dark malts, little tangy chocolate, trace of cream. Filthy hops. Onion, skunk, garlic. Bitter fruits underneath. Light bitter finish. Filthy CDA! Good fun!

From a 375ml can on 16/1/2017. pours a dark brion with a medium head. The nose features a combination of chocolate malt and fruity hops. In the mouth, there’s oodles of chocolate and some hints of caramel, some sweet stone fruit, with some satisfying bitter, resiny hops finishing things off. Medium bodied with average carbonation. True to style and very well made.
