A bold and juicy 8.4% Double IPA with mouth-watering aromas of tropical fruits. Passion fruit and citrus flavours give way to a satisfying bitterness and candied peel on the finish. To toast our 5th anniversary in November 2017 we needed a special beer. This double IPA reaches the hoppy highs and malty depths worthy of its class.

T42 Christmas Bottleshare. Big thanks to Scopey. Hazy amber beer, small cream colour head. Palate is smooth and mildly dry, modest fine carbonation. Smooth semi dry malt, sweetish, light cream and a touch of caramel. Mild ripe orange. A little hop spice. Light dry finish. Ok but it tastes a little ripe.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Paul. Pours fuzzy gold with a frothy, white head. The nose holds rindy citrus, crispy pale bread, orange peel. Light sweet flavour with heavy minerality, gooey orange, bitter pine, rind. Medium to full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, with grassy bitterness, ripening citrus, more flinty minerality. Not bad.

Bottle shared at L42, it pours lightly hazy copper with a medium white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, sticky, oily, stewed orange citrus, passion fruit, peach, oily, brioche and orange muffin. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, juicy, oily, slick, orange marmalade, resinous, pine needles, bit of warming booze, earl grey tea and some toasty grassy dank notes with a drying finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and oily mouth - feel. Old skool punchy Dipa. Good fun.
