Thin malts, sweetish. Light pine and mild hop spice. Good tropical fruits, A Trace of skittles. Mango and light orange peel. Light hot spicy finish. Nice! Very drinkable.

Bottle. Amber with a white head. 3+ Aroma is surprisingly delicate with mandarins and citrus blossoms, spices, cantaloupe, mango skin, bread crust. Medium bodied, highish carbonation. Tastes pretty much as it smells. It's sweet with a fair bit of fruit and medium high bitterness. At first I wonder what the hell it's offering that it needs to be anything like as strong but after a while the firmness of the finish begins to register and I'm somewhat mollified.

Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Tips. Pours clear gold with a small, foamy white head. The aroma holds ripening citrus fruits, melon, tangerine. Medium sweet flavour with crispy pale malts, pine needles, white sugar, more melon, light grass. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish, oily and resinous, with further ripe tangerine, lemon. Nice one.

Bottle care of Mr Tipple. It pours clear deep golden with a thick white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, juicy, fresh, apricot, peach, tangerine, brioche, icing sugar and candy. The taste is dry, bitter, oily, resin, aprciot, peach, grassy, straw, resinous, nectarine and earthy and some alcohol warmth finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Good boosty hop ale.

(On tap) Clear pale Amber with tiny head. Aroma is pine with citrus and very subtle toffee notes. Medium body with slight pleasant stickiness and plenty of soft mouthfilling carbonation. Great taste. Backbone of sweet toffee malt provides definite balancing sweetness without being intrusive. Pine and citrus notes overlay this in the start. Pleasant hoppy bitterness in the finish. That high ABV is well hidden - barely apparent in the finish hiding amongst the hoppy bitterness. Great beer (and I think my 1500th RB review).
