Mead with black tea and lemon.
It's been a long day. I had to hide out in my burrow for the better part of the day waiting for those damn golfers. But today was my lay, I finally did it. I didn't even need a reason. I wonder if they received total consciousness. It's like a Cinderella story, out of nowhere, a former dancing gopher becomes a killing champion. I had my special drink, a half & half, while I got in touch with that force in the universe that makes things happen. All I had to do was stop thinking...let things happen...and B. THE BALL

Draft @ CCB Cider & Mead.

500 mL bottle, on clearance from the late Hiller’s Market in Northville. Pours a lightly hazy golden amber with a white head. Sweet honey aroma with some herbals and a touch of plasticky aroma. Flavor is sweet honey and herbal, some lemon. Tea kind of figures into the finish, but not much. I’m not really into this one, but then I don’t like tea either. Probably wouldn’t have picked it up, even on clearance, if I had read the label further.

Draft @ beer temple. Golden orange pour. Aroma of honey and acidic fruit. Taste is very sweet, with only some mild sourness and notes of sweet honey, candi sugar and lemon. Not bad, but too sweet for my liking.

Bottle, #343. Pours hazy orange, with a minimal head. Aroma is sweet heather and honey, berries with red currants, and some musty farmhouse notes. Light to medium body, with almost no carbonation. Flavour is sweet, with fruit peel, white tea, lemon juice and light funky notes of wood. Dry wooden finish, with tart lemon peel.

Bottle thanks to Graeme. Pours a cloudy orange with small white head. The aroma is strong lucas salt and honey. Medium mouth, strong honey, lemon juice, tea, good.
