From one Getränkmarkt, Interlaken, in june 2023, best before 01/24. Tasting this beverage yesterday, at home, at night. Enjoyable brown ale/black ipa, yeasty, malty, smooth, fruity with a touch of pear, regular bitterness, little touch of nuts, 06.06.24, tasting it at Epalinges.

Craft Islington. Bottleshare. Thanks to Mr Tipple. Hazy dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Airy palate, semi dry and with decent fine carbonation. Thin dark malts, a mild creamy sweetness. Tangy dark chocolate streak. Tangy dark fruits and a little hop spice. Light dry finish. A little clunky but okay.

Bottle at Craft Islington, thanks to Mr Tippz. It pours deep brown with a decent dirty beige head. The aroma is fairly sweet, sticky, oily, roasted malt, fudge, vanilla and toffee. The taste is soft, bitter - sweet, oily, toasty grain, drying, wood, leather, charred pine and cocoa with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Decent enough.

Bottle shared in London / thanks to Tipple. Pours deep brown with a creamy, khaki head. Burnt toast in the nose, dry cocoa, earth. Light sweet flavourbwith ashy roast, earthy hops, bitter dark chocolate, well toasted pine. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Lightly warming finish, with more ashy roast, scorched earth, baking cocoa and burnt pine. Not bad.
