We think the russian tsar would have liked his stout this way. A dark, rich ale in which a generous sweetness with roasted malt bitterness. Serving temp.10°C/50°F. Great with vanilla ice cream or dark chocolate.

Bière 50 cl trouvée au Vinmonopolet de Geilo. Robe sombre, très peu de carbonatation, texture épaisse, liquoreuse (dans sa texture au versage, pas au goût), pas de mousse. En bouche, malt torréfié, espresso et chocolat noir intense; bière onctueuse, équilibrée, très agréable.

Bottle from Beers@Moviefun. Hazy black, small, yellowish beige head. Aroma of prune, raisin, espresso, fondant, tobacco, dark fudge, leather, beef stock, teriyaki, whisky. Taste has sweetish prune & raisin in a dark-chocolatey malt body, lesser note of fudge; bitter espresso & leathery core with salty-umami edges. Softly earthy hoppy fiinsh, strong bitter coffee roast, fondant, tobacco, some dried fruits and warming whisky-like alcohol. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Excellent textbook Imperial Stout.

Black with dark head. Aroma and flavour are full of dark, bitter malts. Subtle notes of dark forest fruits and liquorice. Thick, oily texture.

Flott aromaprofil som ikke heller i noen retning. Lav co2, men det wr bare kledelig for stilen. Kompleks aroma uten at den er for hard på de aller mørkeste maltslagene.
