US Pint can at my daughters in Laguna Hills on 2nd February 2022. I was really looking forward to this, sadly it wasn't as exciting as I'd hoped. Very dark pour, very short lived head, it just seemed to sulk in my glass as if it didn't want to leave it's can. Chocolate nose and initial taste, then the whiskey kicks in a little, like a boozy blast on a vanilla soaked oak chip. I wanted more of everything flavour depth wise. Canned on 5th October 2021, so it wasn't old stock.

Bottle shared by Jack, thanks! Pours an oily dark brown with a brown head that starts and remains at the edges. Aroma has earthy dark grains and chocolate with earthy roast and a bit of tobacco underlying. Flavor has boozy earthy dark grains and chocolate with whiskey and an earthy oak note backing.

Can shared in Canary Wharf - big thanks to Dave. Pours black-brown with a creamy, beige head. Great stuff, ashy, hearty, pretty old school in its stylings. Full bodied and chewy, with massaging carbonation. Warming finish with drying ashy roast, more baking cocoa. Very nice overall.

On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma cappuccino media. Al naso notte di cioccolato fondente, etilico, botte, legno, caffè, liquirizia. In bocca è appena dolce all'attacco con chiusura amara, cioccolato fondente, legno. Corpo pieno, carbonazione media. Un po' sgraziato l'apporto della botte, ma la Yeti è sempre una base di assoluto livello.

I got this 12 oz bottle of Yeti BA Imperial Stout long enough ago that I cannot recall where or exactly when it was acquired. Nonetheless it says says a bottling date of 3/22/17 on the label. I have my ABGB snifter available for this one, the pour is a dark mahogany brown with an initial decent head of fine, char-brown bubbles. The nose is vigorous, heavily chocolate and alcohol. And, ultimately, I get to taste this brew. Goodness gracious, mighty good. Comparable to the best from Oskar Blues or Goose Island. A dark but sweet chocolate, caramel, whole grain bread, cane syrup, toasted pecans, bourbon and strawberry interestingly. I think this may be the best Great Divide imperial stout I have had. And I have had several and they are generally very good. So there you are.

Flarra Imp Stout jämförelse hos PQ. Doftar härligt likt en rik amerikansk dubbel ipa??.. i munnen galet mycket amerikansk humle , lakrits beska , kaffe, trälagring. God men för mycket humlebeska för mig. Jämförelse stouten Heretic också bourbon barreld galet godare .

Sample at Denver Rare Beer Tasting VIII on 10/07/2016. Black pour with a medium thick tan head that recedes gradually to a film. Patchy lacing. Whiskey, malt and chocolate aroma. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky vanilla, whiskey, roast malt and dark chocolate. The finish is boozy with a whiskey and malt aftertaste. Good beer all around.
