20/11/2020. Can sample courtesy of the SHIG. Pours very dark brown with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of hops, cocoa, light roasted malt, dark fruit, touch of liquorice. Moderate sweetness and medium roasted bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation. Roasty finish. Decent drop.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 19/11/20. Light black with a big old khaki cap that stays for the show. Nose is dusty hops, light pine, faint liquorice, toffee, charr. Taste comprises bitter roast, charr, red berry fruit esters, pine needle, cola cubes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close spiked with earthy hop bitterness. Decent enough CDA.

Can from Beer52. Black with a large beige head. Pine and chocolate and bitterness. It's fine if a bit dull.

[33cl can from Beer52.] An opaque black pour with a loose cream head; rich citrus and pine aroma; immediate strong resinous bitterness in the mouth with burnt grains; then some bitter chocolate leading to a long bitter finish with some fresh resinous hops. This certainly refreshes the tastebuds.

Rocky light brown head left a froth on a dark brown still body. Malt, iron & rye aroma. Medium bodied, nicely carbonated with a clean back. Malt, coal, iron, tinny & tobacco tastes with bitter hoppy finish. Deece.
