Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen (23/12/2019) - dark brown with a beige head. Dark roasted sweet malty with some caramel and toffee, some burnt brown sugar, charred malty, medium plus body, dark malty finish.

On tap at Taphouse - CPH, pours a clear dark mahogany with a small tan head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and dusty earthy notes. Flavour is dry, with a dusty, earthy character upfront, with dry cocoa powder buried underneath. Pleasant enough, but lacks body and character. Meh.

Draft. A black beer with a lazing dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, smoke, and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, smoke, and chocolate, leading to a bitter finish.

Black with a huge frothy light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt and coffee. Sweet, light bitter with a burned, coffee and some spices ending. Not bad. Bb 11.2019. Bought at Vinmonopolet.no nov 2019.

Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and light hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter roasted flavor. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate. Nice.

Bottle. Nose is coffee, cola, fruity, earthy. Taste is earthy, coffee, dark chocolate, ash, hint of soy and aniseed, slight hop bitterness, latte, milky vanilla coffee finish. Smooth mouthfeel. Really very nice.

Frothy off white collar with a blotchy cover on a dark oak coloured still body. Malt, demerara, wood & roasted aroma. Medium bodied, sharp on the palate with a clean finish. Roasted, berry, wood, dark chocolate & aniseed tastes.
