330 ml bottle conditioned, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 5.8%. Nearly black colour, moderate tan head. Strong aroma of roast malts, coffee and dark chocolate. The flavour is slightly dry, with notes of roast malts and coffee, hints of dark bitter chocolate. Also fairly distinct bittering hops (Target).

Can at home ppicked up from HOTM. An opaque chestnur brown coloured pour with a lasting mid tan head. Aroma is nice big earthy farmyard roast, toasted bronw bread, dried fruit, figs, Hint of smoke. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded, earthy roast, liquorice, hints of toffee and treacle, light farmyard. light spice. Really well balanced. Palate is semi sweet, nutty, highish carbonation. Bottle. Clear deep brown body under a big beige head. Very nice aroma of dark malt, chocolate, mocha and coffee. Taste goes in the same direction, smooth dark, mild roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee and fruity yeast. Fine body and long lasting, rich aftertaste of malt and chocolate that ends a bit in the direction of slightly bitter cocoa powder. Delicious.

Can from Elusive. Malty mocha aroma with a dark berry streak. Dark but thin looking. Thick foamy beige head. Light-medium bodied. Mocha and liqourice. Some dark berry sour tang into the finish and some hints of underlying creamy sweetness. Medium bodied. Creamy. Average. Slightly astringent finish. Enjoyable rich porter.
