Due to popular demand (and because we love it too!) our delicious Blackbird porter is now available in bottle for the first time! This is a limited edition ale so make sure you try some before it's all gone!

With hints of dark chocolate and deep roast malt flavours this porter is perfectly balanced with a clean bitter finish gloriously dark yet thirst quenching and moreish!

Cask at Cornubia - Bristol. Pours clear brown with a slim, off-white head. Charred brown bread in the nose, mild roast, earthy hops. Light sweet flavour with more earthy bitterness, toast, leaves. Light bodied with soft carbonation. OK balance in the finish, more brown bread and burnt leaves. Decent stuff.

Cask at Cornubia. It pours clear deep brown with a small white head. The is earth, toasty, toasted nut, roasted malt, ash, dull smoke and liquorice. The taste is drying, toasty, chewy malt, chewy, leather, toasty, wood and tannin with a drying finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Fair enough.

Dan's Stag. Cornubia. Cask. Almost opaque dark brown beer, small creak colour head. Palate is smooth and has pretty modest carbonation. Soft mellow dark malts, trace of roast. Mild floralness in the mid. Modest fruits before a fairly dry finish. Comes over like a mild.

Cask-conditioned at the Lime Kiln, Bristol 9/2/2017. Near black in colour, with a moderately-sized, off-white, head. Solid porter, with some toasty malts, chocolate and a touch of blackcurrant fruit, before a lingering, toasty, finish. Fine.
