[English]: Skands Porter is dark and strong with a pleasant aroma of malts and caramel. Subtle sweetness and bitterness dominates this beer. The ingredients are pilsner, caramel and colour malts and the nice Muscovado sugar gives the beer aroma and flavours of liquorice and dried fruits.

Bottle shared at chriso’s May 2014 tasting - London. Pours black-brown with a creamy, beige head. The nose has basic dark malts, touches of cheese, roast, cocoa. Medium sweet flavor flavor with notes of raisins, bread, prunes, dark malts. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Somewhat sugary on the finish with more standard dark malt character, rich bread, fruitcake. Decent overall.

Fullt drickbar.

Taster, 7.5 % abv, at ØK 13. Clear dark brown body. Bubbly ring to the rim of the surface. On the nose I got nuts, dried fruits and roasted malts. Flavoured with mild smoked malts, mid-sweet liquorice, and hints of chocolate. Malt bitter endnotes. Smooth in the mouth. Well made porter (Copenhagen 25.05.2013).

50 cl. bottle from IRMA-supermarket. Dark brown colour with brighter hues. Shortlived, small, beige head, some laceing. Dark, roasted malts with notes of licorice, and dark, dried friuts. Light sweet taste with a lightly bitter finish with coffee and toast. Light body with oliy texture, soft carbonation. Finish does not last long enough for the style, and the body is to deluted. However, a decent beer.
